Type N connector is a medium size threaded RF connector for coaxial cable connection. One of the first connectors capable of transmitting microwave frequency signals, it was invented and named in the 1940s by Paul niel of bell LABS. Widely used in aerospace and defense, medical, commercial automotive, communications, telecommunications, broadcast electronics, WIFI networks and industrial areas of machine-to-machine communication.
