The production process of precision connectors can be simply divided into four steps: stamping, electroplating, injection molding, and assembling. Through step-by-step standardized processing, high-quality precision connectors are finally obtained.

1. Stamping

The first step in the production of precision connectors is stamping pins, that is, stamping hardware. The hardware on the precision connector is a large coil of thin copper coil before being decomposed. The manufacturer uses a large stamping machine or a high-speed punch to make pins according to drawings or customer requirements.

2. Electroplating

After the precision connector is stamped, the next step is electroplating. This process is done by the original factory or sent to a professional electroplating factory for electroplating. In actual production, different coatings, such as gold plating, silver plating, nickel plating, tin plating, etc., will be selected according to the customer's performance requirements.

Three, injection

The base of the precision connector is made of plastic, and the production base must be injection molded. The plastic sub-materials are melted first, then put into a metal mold, and then rapidly cooled, and finally formed.

Four, assembly

The final stage of the precision connector is assembling, connecting the electroplated hardware to the base. There are generally two methods: independent pairing and combined pairing. Alone mating means that only one pin can be inserted each time the PIN pin is inserted. Combined mating means that multiple PIN pins are inserted into the base at the same time.
