Apple 12 sends a line but does not send its head to cause a sensation, Type-C manufacturers may become the biggest winner

On October 14, Apple's 12 online new product launch conference was held on time. One of the most controversial is undoubtedly that the iPhone 12 no longer comes with a charging head and headphones.

Although Apple executives said it was mainly for environmental protection, modern people have too many chargers. However, it must be noted that because the iPhone 12 is equipped with a brand new USB-C to Lightning interface (previously you need to buy it yourself), if you want to use the fast charge function, only Apple's 20W USB-C charger is available.

Therefore, in addition to new users who purchased the phone for the first time, many old Apple users can't perfectly adapt to the new phone using the original charger. In other words, these users need to purchase additional chargers. The original iPhone accessories are not cheap.

Apple's USB-C to Lightning interface cable is also called TypeC-Lightning. That is, the charger end of the data cable is TypeC port, and the end of the mobile phone is still Apple's Lightning. With this USB-C cable, you can connect an iPhone, iPad or iPod with a Lightning interface to the USB-C port of your computer for data synchronization and charging.

Type-C, as a hardware interface form of the Universal Serial Bus (USB), its specification is published by the USB Developer Forum (USB-IF). It is characterized by a slimmer design, faster transmission speed and more powerful power transmission. Undoubtedly, its excellence is overwhelming.

TypeC

1. The maximum data transmission speed can reach 10Gbit/s;

2. The interface size is about 8.3mm×2.5mm slim design;

3. The standard specification cable equipped with Type-C connector can pass 3A current and can provide a maximum of 100W of power;

4. Support "positive and negative insertion" function.

After the release of the USB Type-C specification, many new Android mobile devices, laptops, desktops and even game consoles and other 3C devices began to use this connection port.

However, the Type-C interface has not been able to connect to the iPhone for a long time.

Regarding the iPhone's use of the Type-C interface, there is news almost every year that the iPhone will use the Type-C interface. And finally on the iPhone 12, TypeC-Lightning changed from the "fast charging cable" that users need to purchase separately to standard wiring.

From a commercial point of view, Apple undoubtedly chose to forcibly reduce the consumer experience by giving it a TypeC-Lightning without a charging head, and forcing consumers to buy original chargers to maintain profits.

Of course, consumers can also purchase other brands of charging heads. In fact, the iPhone 12 no longer gives away a charger, which is indeed an opportunity for third-party accessory manufacturers.

Sources from the supply chain said that Apple placed an order for 80 million iPhone 12s in the supply chain. This means that the charger alone is a multi-billion market. In addition to Apple, other accessory manufacturers are expected to carve up a market of hundreds of millions of yuan derived from the iPhone 12 charger.

From the simple USB-A connector and B connector to the current Type-C connector, waterproof connector, and high-frequency connector, the domestic R&D and production technology has been very mature, and the cost control has also reached A certain level.

When the tuyere came, TXGA was ready to deal with it. TXGA has advanced Type-C connector R&D and production technology, providing production services from samples to finished products, with an automated productivity of over 80%, and a maximum daily production capacity of up to one million.

Through the improvement of production efficiency and strict requirements on quality, TXGA can provide customers with more stable and reliable quality products, and become a solid foundation for the upgrading of China's manufacturing industry.
