Have you heard of "low battery anxiety"? With the development of smart phones, people spend more and more time on their phones. Work, entertainment, travel, consumption...The consequent demand for battery life of mobile phones has also become a pain point in the industry.
On the one hand, the continuous upgrade of smart phones in terms of CPU computing performance, screen resolution, and broadband wireless network communications has resulted in a corresponding increase in power consumption of mobile phones.
On the other hand, due to the physical characteristics of the lithium battery itself and factors such as the size, weight, heat dissipation performance, and cost of the mobile phone body, the overall growth rate of the battery capacity of the mobile phone is relatively slow.

How to enhance the battery life of the mobile phone under the premise of ensuring the lightness and thinness? Fast charging has become an effective solution to improve battery life.
Through the coordination of charging heads, batteries, data lines and interfaces, fast charging has moved from the traditional high-voltage, low-current and low-voltage, high-current solutions in the past to a high-current and high-voltage fusion solution.
At the same time, through technological breakthroughs in the fields of GaN switches, flat-panel transformers, VC liquid cooling, graphene, and high-conductivity heat dissipation gels, mobile phone fast charging has become more portable and safer.
Now, vivo and iQOO can already support 120W fast charging, while OPPO and realme have reached 125W. The ultra-high specification fast charging technology has obviously entered the daily use of consumers.
China's mobile phone market has officially entered the era of 100W fast charging.
02
In many people's minds, Type-C headers have long been firmly connected with fast charging. But, does having Type-C equal to having fast charging? actually not.
Type-C is an interface shape specification, and the default maximum supported power is only 15W. However, the dedicated communication line for Type-C interface-CC line, can transmit USB-PD protocol, and the output power can support up to 100W.
It can be said that the round C port is just the body of fast charging, and the PD protocol is the real soul of fast charging.
Therefore, when your mobile phone is clearly a Type-C port, but cannot be charged normally, there may be three problems:
① The mobile phone itself does not support the PD fast charging function;
② The charging head does not support PD fast charging protocol;
③, the charging cable has no cc cable;
None of the above three items can achieve fast charging normally.

Although the fastest fast-charging mobile phone can be charged 44% in five minutes and fully charged in sixteen minutes. But the endurance anxiety has not disappeared.
Because no one wants to see the "low battery" prompt pop up frequently. And consumers can't have a fast charging accessory on hand every time they want to charge.
Not to mention that the current fast charging of various mobile phone manufacturers has adopted a private protocol, and fast charging can only be achieved by using their own brand of chargers. Once you change your mobile phone, you must change the fast charging head and fast charging cable. Once the threads and heads of different manufacturers are mixed, they can only return to slow charging.

In order to accelerate the development of the industry, on May 28, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo jointly led the "Mobile Terminal Convergence Fast Charging Technical Specification", aiming to unify fast charging standards, improve user experience, and avoid waste of resources . At the same time, it is also proposed to charge up to 60% within 30 minutes as the minimum compatibility standard.
Perhaps the future of enjoying the perfect fast charging experience is already here.
