Three categories of D-sub connectors

D-sub connectors, also known as D-sub miniatures, are electrical connectors commonly used in computers. D-sub connectors have a parallel connector pinout surrounded by a metal shield. The shield end is shorter, similar to the English letter D. D-sub connectors are also divided into different categories according to different needs.

1. Micro-D connector:

Micro D-Sub connectors are also known as Micro-D connectors. Micro-D connectors are specially designed for applications where rugged, durable and high performance interconnects are also ideal for space and weight. Keep it to a minimum. In addition, Micro-D connectors maintain integrity even in extreme vibration and shock environments, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.

2. Combined D-Sub connector:

Combination D-Sub connectors combine multiple interconnect types into one fully shielded product, reducing the number of required I/O interfaces and reducing the potential for EMI/RFI leakage.

3. High-density D-Sub connectors:

High-density D-Sub connectors have a higher contact density than standard D-sub connectors, reducing their overall form factor and are primarily designed for use in applications such as military and aerospace.

TXGA is a leader among connector manufacturers, providing customers with connector products and technology-oriented customized services with high-quality products, considerate services and reasonable prices. Purchase D-SUB connectors and enter TXGA [Product Center].
